Tools, equipment & materials needed: the tools required to make a stitch & tape boat are fairly basic and will be found in most homes where someone has done some diy - those mentioned below may be added too as there are many others that would be useful.. A simple little origami paper trick started a new interest for me in bookbinding - and eventually this handmade bookbinding tutorial. i found a blog article with a link to a pdf file that, when printed out and folded, created a very useful little 8 page expense tracking booklet that would slip in your pocket.. Here’s a video tutorial for the braid stitch, which is also known as the cable plait stitch. i used the stitch recently in the felt and floche piece i was stitching, and received a heap of questions about it – more so, i think, than any stitch i’ve ever shown here on needle ‘n thread!.
Very cute, fun, and easy to make. this is a great beginners project for stitching using a brick stitch that produces some fantastic results. we’ve split the tutorial into three parts: the first round, the second/third, and the fourth with finishing.. **watch the video!** when you are done. hand stitch the 4 corners closed. stitch both the front and the back, just like you do for hand binding, but faster!.
