Banshee is a custom designed 14 foot runabout with a beam of just under 6 feet. the prerequisites were simple enough: a 14 foot runabout that seats 4 with a 1950’s look.. The oldest business of it's kind. since our first plans were sold for home construction in 1938, more than 100,000 hartley boats have been built.. John gardner's book is a classic with lots of offsets, not really plans for beginners but an amazing reference; building classic small craft : complete plans and instructions for 47 boats.
